Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end tendering process with a strong emphasis on technical submissions. Collaborate with various teams including Business Development, Quantity Surveying, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to prepare comprehensive and high-quality proposals. Prepare detailed technical submissions, including project schedules, compliance documents, value engineering reports, manpower plans, and project execution plans. Maintain a database of lessons learned from all tender bids to enhance future bidding strategies. Create engaging presentation slides for tender clarifications and present to clients. Compile handover documents for the project team upon project awards. Assist the project team with tender-related technical information when necessary. Support tender activities, including related documentation work such as prequalification documents and tender result follow-ups. Attend tender site walks and briefings to gather firsthand information on bid requirements. Collaborate with Senior Contract / Contract Managers and undertake additional tasks as required.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in proposal management, particularly in construction, Data Center, or Electrical & Instrumentation tenders. Skills: Proficiency in analytical thinking, communication, leadership, and Microsoft Office tools (primarily Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge: Understanding of local construction regulations, contract law, and procurement processes.
