Key Responsibilities
- Search for suitable government and private-sector tender opportunities.
- Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and submission requirements.
- Prepare quotations, tender forms, pricing schedules, and supporting documents.
- Obtain pricing and product information from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with management, sales, and operations teams on costing and technical details.
- Ensure all tender submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted before the deadline.
- Attend site visits and tender briefings when required.
- Respond to tender clarifications and requests for additional information.
- Follow up on submitted tenders and update management on the results.
- Maintain an organised tender register and filing system.
- Keep company certificates, licences, and tender documents updated.
- Assist with other tender, quotation, and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
- At least one to two years of relevant experience in tender preparation, quotations, project administration or sales coordination is preferred.
- Experience in the construction, blinds, shading systems, renovation or building-products industry is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF document preparation.
- Able to understand basic drawings, specifications, and quantity requirements.
- Good numerical, written, and communication skills.
- Careful, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with different parties.

- Interpretation of specifications and drawings.
- Supplier, client, and internal-teams coordination.
- Tender documentation and record management.

The Tender Officer is expected to:
- Submit tenders accurately and on time.
- Maintain complete and organised tender records.
- Coordinate effectively with suppliers, clients and internal teams.
- Support BlindXpert Pte Ltd in securing new projects and business opportunities.
