We are looking for a Tender Manager (MEP) with 10 years experience to support our client in the Construction sector. Our client is a global Japan Company , and we are looking for potential candidates to support them initially for expansion plan.
They are located in West - easily accessible via various modes of transport.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full tender process, from tender invitations to final submission.
- Attend tender briefings and site visits when required.
- Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), budgets, and tender documents.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers during the tender stage.
- Evaluate quotations and negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor market pricing and prepare cost reports.
- Review value engineering proposals and assess their cost impact.
- Support contract reviews, negotiations, claims, and documentation.
- Lead and mentor the tender team to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Keep updated on industry trends, market conditions, and construction practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in tender management or project management within the engineering or construction industry.
- Experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or high-tech industrial projects is preferred.
- Good knowledge of M&E systems, quantity surveying, tendering, and contract administration.
- Able to manage multiple tenders and prepare technical proposals and tender submissions
