RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive sales opportunities by working with internal stakeholders to identify, develop, quote, and close deals in line with annual targets.
- Prepare commercial proposals, cost calculations, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Review and negotiate contractual terms with customers and vendors, working closely with the Legal team.
- Develop and support sales strategies by analysing market trends and providing regular sales updates to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors through regular engagement and site visits.
- Support cross-functional teams (Projects, Compliance, Admin) to ensure smooth execution, compliance, timely invoicing, and payments.
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and growth strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possesses a Degree in Engineering and at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar function
- Good experience in aftermarket tender bidding, proposal preparation, creating cost calculation, negotiations and closing sales
- Good knowledge of project, parts, service and maintenance business for Heavy Machinery for Industrial Projects
- Proven ability to manage and work with customers, vendors, internal stakeholders and people of different disciplines
- Good understanding of general import and export trade with INCOTERMS
- Good interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Good time management skills to manage concurrent tasks
