Cloud & Smart Industries Group (CSIG) is responsible for promoting the company's cloud and industry Internet strategy. CSIG explores the interactions between users and industries to create innovative solutions for smart industries via technological advancements such as cloud, AI, and network security. Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop strategic enterprise opportunities for Tencent Cloud's AI and cloud solutions within the Singapore and SouthEast Asian market.
- Build and manage executive-level relationships with customers, AI native companies, digital-native companies, ISVs, and enterprise organizations adopting Generative AI technologies.
- Drive the sales of AI infrastructure, large language model (LLM) services, AI platforms, Model-as-a-Service (MaaS), API/token-based AI services, cloud infrastructure, and related SaaS offerings.
- Lead the entire enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and solution positioning to commercial negotiations, contract execution, and successful deal closure.
- Partner closely with Solution Architects, AI specialists, Product teams, and Business Contracts Managers to design customer-centric AI and cloud solutions.
- Develop strategic account plans, pipeline forecasts, territory plans, and executive business reviews to consistently exceed revenue targets.
- Understand customers AI transformation initiatives and recommend appropriate Tencent Cloud AI capabilities, including LLMs APIs, model hosting, AI agents, AI tools and AI development platforms.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging AI use cases to identify new business opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to maximize customer success, expansion opportunities, and long-term account growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise technology sales experience, with at least 2 years selling AI products, Generative AI platforms, LLM APIs, AI infrastructure, cloud services, GPU computing, ML platforms, SaaS, or developer platforms.
- Demonstrated experience selling AI solutions such as LLM APIs, token-based AI services, inference platforms, AI agents, MLOps platforms, AI developer tools, or cloud AI infrastructure is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the AI ecosystem, including Large Language Models (LLMs), foundation models, prompt engineering, AI inference, embeddings, AI agents, API consumption, and token-based commercial models.
- Proven track record of acquiring new enterprise customers (hunter mindset) while expanding strategic accounts and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Experience engaging C-level executives, technology leaders, AI teams, and business decision-makers, with a history of closing complex, high-value enterprise deals.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate complex AI and cloud technologies into measurable business outcomes.
- Experience working with AI startups, digital-native companies, ISVs, SaaS vendors, or enterprise AI transformation projects is a strong advantage.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred to effectively collaborate with internal teams and regional stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
