About the Role

We're looking for an Overseas Operations Specialist for Southeast Asia to drive early user operations, localization, and product feedback loops for an AI Agent product (WorkBuddy) across the region.

WorkBuddy Product Overview

Tencent WorkBuddy is Tencent's AI-native productivity platform designed to help knowledge workers automate and complete everyday work through intelligent AI agents. Powered by multiple specialized AI agents and over 100 built-in expert capabilities, WorkBuddy can autonomously plan, execute, and deliver end-to-end work outputs, including research, document creation, data analysis, presentations, and workflow automation, all from a single natural-language instruction. Built for enterprise productivity, WorkBuddy enables organizations to streamline complex workflows, improve operational efficiency, and unlock greater business value through secure, intelligent AI automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the operations strategy for the AI Agent product in Southeast Asia, including market prioritization, user segmentation, growth channels, localization direction, and operating cadence.
  • Acquire seed users in target markets and run localized operations across channels including but not limited to content, communities, and influencers, identifying and validating the growth motions that work best in each local market.
  • Through user research and market insight, develop a deep understanding of how knowledge workers and business users in Southeast Asia use AI tools; build localized use cases and templates for SEA users, and close the product feedback loop.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in user operations, content operations, community operations, or growth operations; hands-on experience in Southeast Asian markets is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in content, community, and influencer / KOL operations, with the ability to plan and execute campaigns independently.
  • Familiar with AI products, productivity tools, SaaS, or cross-border ecommerce tools, with a strong understanding of user workflows.
  • Strong user insight and data sensitivity, with the ability to optimize operations based on activation, retention, and other usage data.
  • Working proficiency in English; fluent Chinese with the ability to collaborate effectively with China-based teams; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, or other Southeast Asian languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving early user operations or cold-start growth in a new country or market.
