Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a responsible, committed, and creative temporary Video Editor to support the production of the YMAC 2026 Conference Highlights Video. The selected candidate will work closely with the YMAC 2026 Staff and the Student Lead overseeing media to develop and edit the official conference highlights.
YMAC 2026 will take place virtually on 1 April 2026 and in person from 7-10 April 2026 in Singapore. As the turnaround time for the video is critical, the successful hire must be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines. The completed video will be showcased at the YMAC 2026 Closing Ceremony and subsequently shared on YMAC's social media platforms.
Job Scope:
- Meet with YMAC staff and the Student Lead between 25th to 27th March 2026 to understand the creative direction and technical requirements of the Conference Highlights Video
- Curate and edit photos and video footage capturing conference highlights taken by YMAC students from 1, 6-11 April 2026
- Provide guidance and support to YMAC students involved in video editing
- Ensure the YMAC 2026 Conference Highlights Video is completed by10 April 2026, 9:00 AM for presentation at the Closing Ceremony
- Complete final edits by 13 April 2026 to incorporate additional footage from 10-11 April 2026
- Be present onsite for daily editing of footage during: 7-9 April 2026 (PM)10 April 2026 (AM)
Requirements:
- Responsible, committed, and creative individual with strong video editing skills
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage fast turnaround times
- Comfortable collaborating closely with staff, student leaders, and student contributors
- Availability to work both virtually and onsite in Singapore during the conference period
- Able to support and guide students in basic video editing processes
- Willingness to commit fully to the project timeline leading up to and following the Closing Ceremony
Working Hours: Office hours
Contract Period: Late March - April
Salary: $2100-$2300/month
