Job Description
We are seeking a temporary staff member to provide administrative and operational support for student housing matters from mid-July 2026 to mid-October 2026.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process student housing applications and related administrative matters
- Assist with preparatory and operational work related to semester housing exercises
- Support student check-in and check-out processes, including follow-up on housing status and room matters
- Process room move requests, housing cancellations, refunds, and waitlist offers in coordination with relevant departments
- Respond to housing-related enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Handle housing administration, including billing follow-ups and acceptance fee exercises
- Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Housing Services and Dining Services on operational matters
- Provide logistical and operational assistance to ensure tasks/ events run smoothly
- Perform other administrative and ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
- GCE A Level/ Diploma
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word and Excel)
- Good general IT literacy and comfort with learning new software and digital platforms
- Good written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks during peak periods
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Prior experience in administrative or student-facing roles will be an advantage
