Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Temenos Test Manager to lead testing activities across Temenos T24 (Transact), Infinity, and related digital banking modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking application testing, Temenos product knowledge, and test automation. This role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders across regions, ensuring quality assurance governance, and delivering large-scale core banking transformation projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing (SIT, UAT, Regression, API, Integration) for Temenos T24/Transact and Infinity implementations.
- Define test strategy, test plans, and test approach aligned with project scope and regulatory requirements.
- Manage test execution for functional, interface, data migration, and regression testing.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Vendors (Temenos, TCS, Infosys, etc.) for test deliverables.
- Oversee test environment setup, test data management, and defect lifecycle in ALM/JIRA.
- Implement automation frameworks (TOSCA, Selenium, or Temenos Test Automation - TAFJ/TAFC).
- Govern QA metrics - defect leakage, test coverage, and execution progress publish dashboards and executive reports.
- Manage and mentor test teams (onshore/offshore) to ensure optimal productivity and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, reusability, and integration of Gen AI or AI-based QA accelerators.
- Conduct defect triage meetings, prioritizing critical issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure testing compliance with banking regulations, Temenos upgrade cycles, and change management processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of total experience in software testing, with 5+ years in Temenos (T24/Transact/Infinity) domain.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end QA cycles for Temenos Core Banking or Digital Banking transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of Temenos modules (AA, Payments, FT, Loans, Deposits, Customer, Limits, Funds Transfer, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in functional and API testing, including TCIB, IRIS, OBIEE, or Integration layers (ESB, API Gateway).
- Proficient with testing tools: HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, Postman, Jenkins, TOSCA, or Temenos TAFJ/TAFC.
- Familiar with test automation for regression cycles in Temenos upgrades or CR delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps-based testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in multi-country banking environments (SG, MY, HK, TH, MO, etc.) is a plus.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with Temenos Integration Framework (IF), TAFC/TAFJ, or Kony/Infinity UI testing.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance testing (MAS, HKMA, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket) and Cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- ISTQB / Temenos / Agile certification preferred.
