Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Temenos Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Temenos T24 / Transact migrations, specifically TAFJ R23 or higher releases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end migration programs, upgrades, technical remediation, and functional transformation across multi-company, multi-application server environments.
This role requires a consultant who can bridge both business functional requirements and technical solution delivery, ensuring smooth migration, modernization, and stable production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Temenos Migration & Upgrade Delivery
- Lead and execute Temenos T24 / TAFJ migration projects from legacy versions to R23 / latest releases.
- Perform impact assessment of upgrades, patches, custom developments, interfaces, and downstream systems.
- Drive migration strategy including code remediation, data migration, environment readiness, and release planning.
- Support cutover planning, mock runs, go-live readiness, and post-production stabilization.
Techno-Functional Consulting
- Translate business requirements into scalable Temenos solutions across Core Banking, Payments, Wealth, Securities, Treasury, or Private Banking modules.
- Participate in functional workshops and provide best-practice recommendations aligned to Temenos product capabilities.
- Handle end-to-end implementation of complex and custom-built banking solutions.
Development & Architecture
- Review and develop T24 components such as Versions, Enquiries, OFS, Interfaces, APIs, COB routines, Java services, and integrations.
- Ensure designs are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Enforce coding standards, review technical design, and challenge obsolete approaches.
Integration & Production Support
- Manage integrations involving SWIFT, MQ, IRIS, TAP, Event Streaming, APIs, and middleware platforms.
- Investigate and resolve production issues during BAU / RTB support.
- Work closely with PMs, Architects, QA, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.
Governance & Documentation
- Maintain project artifacts in JIRA, Confluence, test evidence, code reviews, Sonar scans, vulnerability reports, and handover documents.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience in Temenos T24 / Transact
- Proven migration experience in TAFJ R23 or higher
- Hands-on knowledge of Temenos Application Platform (TAP)
- Multi-company / Multi-application server setup experience
- Strong functional understanding of banking operations
- Java / TAFJ technical development knowledge
- Experience with JBoss / Linux / Cloud deployments
- Knowledge of IRIS, OFS, MQ, APIs, Event Streaming
- Agile / SAFe delivery exposure
Preferred Skills:
- Private Banking / Wealth / Securities module experience
- Cloud migration experience (AWS / Azure / OpenShift)
- DevOps / CI-CD pipeline exposure
- Temenos Unit Test Framework knowledge
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
