About The Role
Major Global Bank is seeking for a
Technology Risk Manager who will be based in Singapore and will be supporting their multi - year core banking transformation program and Global Transaction project portfolio. The client is looking for a driven individual with excellent communication skills and IT Risk experience within banking industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technology risk governance and oversight across strategic transformation and technology initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments and control reviews throughout project lifecycles
- Review and challenge risk exceptions, control gaps, and remediation plans
- Partner with technology, project, security, and business teams to identify and manage technology risks
- Ensure key risk issues are appropriately tracked, escalated, and remediated
- Support governance forums, risk committees, and stakeholder reporting
- Promote effective risk management practices across project and technology teams
- Drive continuous improvement of technology risk and governance processes
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years experience in Technology Risk, IT Audit, Technology Controls, Risk Assurance, Information Security, or Technology Governance
- Experience within banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments
- Good understanding of technology risk management and control frameworks
- Experience supporting technology transformation, application development, or SDLC-related initiatives
- Proven ability to perform risk assessments and evaluate control effectiveness
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, Audit, or a related discipline
- Good to have: Risk / Security Certification (CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP)
