Job Description

Technology Platform Evangelist

The role is an interesting mix of technology and business development. The primary role is to constantly be learning about new technology and how to leverage the latest technology in the platform by working with the technology team. Educate and evangelise to markets and customers and position the value and benefits of the platform to generate business opportunities. The role reports the Managing Director.

The key duties and responsibilities are as follows: -

a) Keep abreast of new technology trends and how they can be leveraged on the platform.

b) Work with technical team to ensure the platform is best-of –breed and will deliver an excellent customer experience.

c) Leverage in-depth technical knowledge about various technology, applications, products and services so as to influence and provide valuable insight about competitors and industry as a whole.

d) Build thought leadership profile in various ways, including taking advantage of speaking opportunities and networking. Stay up to date on related emerging technologies to build and advance knowledge.

d) Deliver content through various means of communication (including Social Media) and across many platforms that focus on why their target audience needs a certain technology.

e) Work with the Marketing team to develop marketing strategies to engage the various segments of partners and customers in the ecosystem.

f) Lead demonstrations to let consumers, developers and others gain a better understanding about its functions and usability.

g) Identify client opportunities and drive closure of client opportunities

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelors in IT/Computer Science

• Experience in e-commerce platforms will be an advantage

• Goal Oriented

• Business Acumen

• Strong Technical Background in AI, AR/VR, etc

• Strong Communication and Presentation Skills

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Strong Project Management Skills

• Ability to think on your feet

• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.

• Strong networking abilities
