Job Summary
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs for hotel facilities and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with hotel standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect hotel facilities and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and prevent breakdowns.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair works on electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and carpentry systems.
- Troubleshoot issues in guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, offices, and back-of-house areas to restore functionality promptly.
- Ensure HVAC, lighting, water supply, fire protection, and electrical systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment and fixtures to maintain hotel standards.
- Complete all maintenance tasks following safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment readings for tracking and compliance.
- Support hotel energy conservation and sustainability initiatives by implementing efficient maintenance practices.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to facilitate specialized repairs or services.
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles.
- Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC qualification.
