Participate in the installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, telecommunications, CCTV, and other building systems and equipment.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works for building facilities, guestrooms, offices, and common areas.
Install, inspect, maintain, replace, and repair mechanical equipment including kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, ventilation systems, fresh air and exhaust systems, trolleys, rubbish bins, wheels, and other fittings.
Clean, lubricate, protect and maintain all tools and equipment in the service apartments.
Perform troubleshooting and implement effective resolutions for equipment faults and system breakdowns.
Monitor and maintain Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems, ensuring proper operation and immediate response during emergencies.
Schedule and oversee regular inspections and contract service to ensure the working conditions of all equipment.
Supervise contractors and vendors on maintenance works, safety compliance, and work performance.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
Observe and report any defective equipment, switchgears, or wiring and carry out rectification works promptly.
Maintain all tools and equipment in good working condition through cleaning, lubrication, and proper handling.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and operational issues.
Support ad-hoc projects and perform other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or Related Discipline
Min 3-5 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, preferably in Hotels, Serviced Apartments, or hospitality settings.
Hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general building maintenance.
Familiar with preventive maintenance schedules and basic troubleshooting of M&E systems.
Able to respond to maintenance requests and breakdowns promptly, including after-hours or standby duties.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations and workplace safety practices.
Good communication skills with ability to interact professionally with guests and internal teams.
Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
