Technician

Will be support the Facilities section of Plant & Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building facilities and equipment.
• Attend to electrical power trips and carry out troubleshooting to identify and rectify electrical faults.
• Conduct maintenance and repair works involving electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase wiring installations.
• Support the repair, replacement, and installation of electrical components and equipment.
• Carry out plumbing maintenance works, including repairing toilet leaks and replacing water pipes, fittings, valves, and associated fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection, repair, and replacement of pneumatic components, fittings, and related systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility breakdowns to minimize operational disruption.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations, company procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance work performed and report any major issues to supervisors.

Job Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase wiring concepts.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and components is preferred.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Able to respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.
• Good problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
