Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures (pumps, motors, valves, actuators) and perform corrective actions.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, oiling, and greasing of machines.
- Technical Inspection: Inspect equipment for leaks, wear, or damage and conduct tests to ensure functionality.
- Component Overhaul: Overhaul hydraulic components such as pumps, cylinders, and motors.
- Safety Compliance: Execute lockout/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and job status reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: 1–3+ years of relevant experience in hydraulic, diesel machinery, or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Skills: Proficiency with hand/power tools, ability to read hydraulic/electrical circuit diagrams, and knowledge of troubleshooting
- Physical Ability: Must be capable of working in workshops, shipyards, or on-site, sometimes in demanding conditions
