TECHNICIAN

Sol Luminaire, an architectural lighting studio founded in Singapore, is expanding.
We are looking for a Technician to support our operations as we grow.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site servicing for existing Sol Luminaire customers

• Replacement of faulty components for existing Sol Luminaire customers (e.g., transformers, LED light sources, LED strips, or entire lamps)

• Troubleshooting lighting compatibility issues with switches or smart home control systems

• Working with smart home vendors or the in-house smart home team

• Perform maintenance and servicing of lighting systems both within the warranty period and for post-warranty support

• Perform daily servicing duties at different residential locations, typically up to 10 locations per day depending on operational requirements

• Maintenance of our retail galleries

• Provide ad-hoc on-site support and delivery of lighting products or related items when required

• Overtime may be required for loading and unloading goods during import or export operations, in accordance with company operational needs

• Ensure all servicing and maintenance work is performed in accordance with company safety procedures and electrical safety standards

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a valid Singapore Class 3 (manual) driving licence (company vehicle provided for work purposes)

• Able to travel to multiple locations across Singapore to perform on-site servicing

• Able to coordinate effectively with contractors and electricians during servicing work

• Demonstrates initiative and responsibility in carrying out assigned duties

• Basic knowledge of lighting, electrical works, or smart home systems is an advantage

• Salary will be commensurate with relevant work experience

• Willing to work a 5.5-day work week
