TECHNICIAN

Job Description - Technician

The candidate will be involved in both Technical and Operational work in

Responsibilities include:

Technical/Hands on work:

. Carry out assembly, installation and maintenance of hydraulic components and system

. Participate in pressure testing of hydraulic components

. Assist engineer in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in existing hydraulic systems

. Create accurate testing reports, service reports and maintenance records of completed projects

. Carry out mechanical repair work for hydraulic equipment and components in workshop and shipyard

. The candidate will be supervised by senior technicians and engineers for a period of time before they can carry out work independently.

Operations:

. Coordination of deliveries with relevant stakeholders

. Arranging for entry permits to start work at shipyards

. Liaising between the technical department and admin department

. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Operations and Technical duties can be carried out on a rotational basis to assess area of interest and competency level

Requirements:

. Prefer to have drivering license

. Willingness to learn

. Training is available

Others:

. Working hours are from Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 12pm

. Lunch allowance will be provided - $5 per full working day

Salary:

. Salary range from $2,000.00 to $2,500.00
