The Quality System Engineering Technician supports the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). This role ensures compliance with applicable standards, company procedures, and customer requirements through documentation control, audits, data analysis, and corrective action support.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System (QMS)
Support the administration and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with applicable standards (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
Assist in document control activities, including creation, revision, distribution, and archival of controlled documents.
Ensure quality records are properly maintained, traceable, and readily accessible.
Assist in raising purchase order.
Audit Support
Assist in planning and supporting audits.
Track audit findings, action items, and closure status.
Support preparation of audit evidence and documentation.
Nonconformance & Corrective Action
Assist in investigation of quality issues and root cause analysis.
Track Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure timely and effective closure.
Data & Reporting
Collect, compile, and analyze quality data (e.g. audit results, CAPA status, KPIs).
Prepare quality reports and dashboards for management review.
Maintain quality performance metrics and trend analysis.
Continuous Improvement
Support quality improvement initiatives and projects.
Participate in cross‑functional improvement activities.
Training & Awareness
Support coordination of quality‑related training.
Assist in maintaining training records and competency matrices.
Promote quality awareness across the organization.
Requirements:
Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
Attention to details to ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation, reporting, and execution of tasks.
Familiar with AI tools such as Python, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI and Tableau
Familiar with engineering principles, quality systems such as Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Change Management, Measurement System Analysis, Calibration and other quality and statistical methods and tools will be advantageous

Assists engineers in testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products, processes and/or production equipment. Report such data to management and production engineering so problematic areas may be addressed.
