RESPONSIBILITIES

Role

We are looking for a process Technician who can work in shift mode and overtime to safeguard KPIs and prevent excursions in the line. Expected job roles as follows:

• Communicate clearly with shift peers and highlight all outstanding issues during passdown/ handover.
• Understand & maintain the major KPI including yield, output and quality.
• Performed first level process troubleshooting according to the troubleshooting guideline and OCAP.
• Work together with operation team including equipment, quality, and manufacturing to achieve the target KPI set.

Process

• Safeguard KPIs during work and perform basic OCAP troubleshooting for the process engineers.
• Compile and analyze data and submit shift reports for line issues.

Technical, Analytical & Problem Solving

• Understand each individual process and learn process tuning from the engineers.
• Understand individual process & perform process troubleshooting to achieve highest quality product for the company.

Depending on the competencies developed, process technicians will be required to suggest ideas on improving the quality control in the line. They may also need to monitor line performance for engineer's projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum ITE/Diploma in relevant discipline

OTHER INFORMATION

Knowledge in methodologies like SPC, FMEA, GR&R, DOE, 8D methodology and Fish Bone diagram. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to work under stress. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels (operators to engineers) within the organization. Ability to write and speak in English and one other language. Proactive working attitude, team player. Challenging spirit to improve current conditions Highly effective personal skills - communication and organization Ability to initiate without being asked Working experience in Solar/Semiconductors/Electronics manufacturing industries will be advantageous Minimum 2 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment would be preferred. Ability to use Microsoft applications such as words, excel, and power-point. Ability to speak and write English. Ability for a 2nd spoken language is an advantage. Knowledge in PV modules assembly process
