Job Description
The PCS Technician executes, maintains, and sustains Micron's PCS systems, SPACE Statistical Process Control (SPC), Applied Materials E3: Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) and Run to Run (R2R), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), MESCentral, and MAM (Manufacturing Application Management), RMS (Recipe Management Systems)
to ensure accurate system updates, stable automation behavior, and strong data integrity across manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
1) SPC (SPACE Platform)
Create and update SPC charts, limits, rules, and attributes.
Monitor chart health and escalate abnormalities.
2) E3 - FDC & R2R
Update FDC traces, limits, alarms perform basic troubleshooting.
Enable/disable R2R models based on engineering instruction.
3) RMS - Recipe & Parameter Control
Process recipe revisions and parameter changes.
Validate recipe uploads and equipment communication.
4) SigmaSpec - Specification Management
Update SigmaSpec per approved engineering change.
Ensure spec alignment across SPC, FDC, R2R, and RMS.
5) MES / Shop Floor Systems
Execute MES changes, validations, and state transitions.
Support WIP, equipment status, and data collection plan accuracy.
Troubleshoot MES errors (missing data, state flow issues, communication faults).
6) MAM - Application Logic Support
Update PCSlinked MAM workflows.
Validate rule behavior affecting SPC, FDC, and system communication.
Escalate MAM logic issues impacting control strategy.
7) Governance & Documentation
Execute changes following ECN and site governance procedures.
Maintain change logs and verification/closure evidence.
8) Monitoring & FirstLine Troubleshooting
Monitor dashboards for alarms, data gaps, and communication failures.
Perform firstline diagnosis and escalate as needed.
9) CrossFunctional Collaboration
Support Process, Equipment, Manufacturing, PCS/Automation, and Quality Engineering.
Provide onfloor support during major updates or equipment conversions.

Qualifications
Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, IT, Automation, or related field.
Basic understanding of SPC, automation, and semiconductor operations.
Experience with SPACE SPC, E3 FDC/R2R, RMS, MES/Shop Floor and SigmaSpe is preferred.
Semiconductor manufacturing or automation experience will be an added advantage.
Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
