Reporting to the Facility Engineer, this position ensures overall efficient operation of all plant infrastructures and production machinery and equipment.
Job description
- Regular inspection, servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, pumps, transmission systems, and production-related equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Execution of Contracts on outsourced Services to ensure fulfilment of contract terms and agreements.
- Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
- Manage the maintenance documentation.
- Participate actively in contributing to HSE development and improvement.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
Candidate skills & requirements
- NITEC (National ITE Certificate) or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or any engineering-related field.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to be on 24/7 hours standby for any M&E related emergency call out.
- Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
