Carry out daily inspection, preventive maintenance and repair of hotel facilities, equipment and building systems.
Attend promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues in guest rooms, public areas and operational areas.
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs involving electrical, plumbing, mechanical, air-conditioning and other building systems.
Identify equipment faults and report abnormalities or major defects to the supervisor.
Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to hotel operations and guest experience.
Assist in monitoring contractors carrying out maintenance and repair works.
Maintain proper records of maintenance, inspections, repairs and servicing activities.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), fire safety and hotel safety requirements.
Support the hotel's energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
Perform other Engineering-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
NITEC / Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Facilities Management or a related technical discipline.
Relevant hands-on maintenance experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and/or general building maintenance.
Able to troubleshoot and carry out general repair and maintenance works.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Service-oriented, responsible and willing to learn.
Able to perform physical and hands-on work.
Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holidays according to operational requirements.
