Job Overview:
Prepare landing gears and components for primer and finish paint application apply finishing to a variety of parts and/or assemblies in accordance with approved procedures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform surface preparation of landing gears and components priorto painting by degreasing and masking as necessary.
- Perform spray paint finishes to parts or assemblies in accordance with procedures.
- Check and ensure that all surfaces are cleaned before painting i scarried out to achieve good quality results.
- Use painting equipment including brushes and spray guns to perform minor rework or touch-up as necessary.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety and compliance procedures.
- Active participation in 6S program and continuous improvement projects.
- Participate actively in contributing to HSE development and improvement.
- To perform daily or scheduled maintenance check on equipment.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC in Mechanical or related disciplines.
- Able to apply basic math and use some measuring instruments.
- Highly accurate and detailed oriented is a must.
- Good and consistent attendance at work.
- Observe good punctuality during working hours.
- Disciplined and self-motivated with emphasis on quality work. Doing the first time right attitude.
- A combination of over one year experience in paint preparation and aircraft spray painting or equivalent experience.
