Job Summary
You will supervise contractors and perform simple maintenance on instrumentation, control, and automation systems while ensuring site safety and supporting management with related technical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Supervise contractors on instrumentation, control, and automation projects to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with standards
- Troubleshoot electrical and automated systems to identify faults and perform preventive maintenance to sustain operational efficiency
- Conduct system checks on Mechanical and automated equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime
- Prepare and submit detailed work reports, maintenance checklists, and progress updates to document activities and support project tracking
- Enforce site safety protocols for contractors working with Mechanical and automated systems to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist management by performing ad-hoc technical tasks related to instrumentation, control, automation, and IT systems to support operational needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Possess a Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
- Own transport and ability to travel between multiple sites
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in instrumentation, control, automation, or electrical engineering-related fields
- Fresh graduates with Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering and interest in modern control and automation systems are welcome
- Demonstrate good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors and adapt to varying site conditions
