The TECHNICAL MANAGER is to set up the Managing role in the company.
The manager is required to identify new business opportunities, generating leads, and securing new Blasting and Painting contracts for the company. He will also focus on securing contracts, managing client portfolios, and providing leadership to the business development team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Development
. Identify and approach potential clients within assigned territories or market segment.
. Prepare and present comprehensive service proposals and quotations
. Respond to tenders and requests for quotations within required time frames
. Negotiate contract terms within company guidelines
2. Client Relationship Management
. Conduct site surveys to assess client requirements
. Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients
. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
. Collaborate with operations team to ensure smooth completion of contracts
. Collect client feedback and communicate to relevant departments
. May require occasional evening work for client meetings
3. Market Research & Analysis
. Monitor market trends and competitor activities
. Identify new market opportunities and potential service offerings
. Gather intelligence on pricing trends and customer preferences
. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and approaches
4.Administrative Duties
. Maintain accurate records in the company's system
. Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports
. Document client requirements and contract specifications
. Manage sales-related documentation and filing systems
5. Key Account Management
. Personally manage relationships with major clients and key accounts
. Develop account growth strategies for existing clients
. Oversee contract negotiations for agreements
. Resolve complex client issues and ensure service excellence
. Coordinate cross-departmental efforts for key accounts
6. Strategic Planning & Reporting
. Contribute to the company's strategic planning process
. Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance
. Analyse competitive landscape and provide strategic insights
. Represent the company at industry events and networking forums
