Job Summary
You will perform maintenance, repair, commissioning, and testing of electrical machinery and systems, supporting predictive maintenance and collaborating with supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, commissioning, and replacement of motors, switchgears, generators, and transformers to ensure equipment reliability
- Test various protection relays (pilot wire protection, overcurrent, earth fault) under supervision to verify system protection functionality
- Conduct oil filtration of transformers under guidance to maintain equipment performance
- Execute partial discharge measurement, thermal scanning, and use predictive maintenance tools under guidance to detect equipment faults early
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, assistant supervisors, and other departments to address engineering concerns
- Adapt to project demands by committing to longer working hours when required
- Manage work under tight schedules and short deadlines in coordination with superiors
- Travel on short notice to support project needs and site requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- ITE certification or a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate teamwork and coordination
