As a Technician lll under DSM Production Technical Support Team, you will be handling complex technical tasks in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will manage resources, monitor quality, and maintain production records, requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Provide advanced technical support for automated production equipment in a cleanroom environment, ensuring smooth operations, equipment reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex automated manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and support production targets.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment, process, and automation-related issues to ensure continuous and efficient production operations.

• Coordinate resources and production schedules to meet operational requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

• Maintain accurate production and equipment performance records to support analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Make informed technical decisions within assigned responsibilities, leveraging strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Review work orders, prioritize maintenance and production activities, and monitor equipment performance to support business objectives.

• Ensure compliance with Good Practice (GxP) requirements by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documentation standards, and cleanroom protocols.

• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Diploma/ NITEC in Mechanical /Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or related field
  • 0- 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry in a maintenance/ similar role troubleshooting equipment and machines/ Training will be provided for those without experience
  • Experience in cleanroom preferred
  • Able to perform 12hours rotating shift
