Description
Job Purpose
Support production operations by carrying out post-casting finishing activities to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water blasting to remove shell moulds from castings.
- Grind and finish cast parts, runners, risers, and gating systems.
- Conduct sandblasting of finished components.
- Inspect finished products and report defects or abnormalities.
- Operate finishing equipment safely and follow work instructions.
- Maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety requirements.
Requirements
- Secondary education or equivalent.
- Experience in foundry, manufacturing, or production environments is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
