Technician II to join us in Singapore

The Technician supports capital equipment manufacturing by assembling electronic and mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications. This role performs functional and leak testing, assists in troubleshooting, and ensures compliance with cleanroom protocols and 5S standards. Operating in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment, the assembler contributes to high-quality system integration and testing. The position requires technical aptitude, physical stamina, and flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic and mechanical parts to build machines based on required specifications, drawings and work instruction.
- Conduct functional and leak test, identify errors and conduct rework if required.
- Report and assist engineers in problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Required to understand the cleanroom protocol and practice the 5S Concept for cleanroom.
- Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing/aerospace/engineering industry
- Able to comprehend electrical / mechanical drawings
- Able to work in cleanroom environment; wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes
- Willing to commit to the shift pattern and OT if required
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- NITEC / Higher NITEC/ Professional Certificate or its equivalent
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Engineering
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Work Environment: Clean room
Physical Demands : able to carry some weight (up to 20kg) due to need to push the machines or carry the material parts to the station
Environmental Exposure: Capital equipment manufacturing with sophisticate system integration & testing
