Your new company

Client an electric provider seeking to hire a Technician (Tengah) to be based in their office in Labrador.

Location: Islandwide, depending on projects

Work Hours: 12 hours rotating shift: 4 days work, 4 days off

Contract duration: 1 year

Salary: up to $3,100 per month

Your new role

. Assist in the execution of District Cooling Plants Operations & Maintenance works

. Attend daily toolbox and work meeting conducted by Engineer and Supervisor.

. Plan, schedule, execute and supervise contractors on the daily routine and non-routine O&M works and troubleshooting, as assigned

. Carry out daily walk-through plant inspection.

. Upkeep maintenance records, work area and tools

. Assist the Engineers in the sourcing and purchasing of spare parts

. Promptly investigate and report equipment defects, deficiencies, and abnormalities

. May be assigned to support district cooling works at other project locations after necessary training and to work independently where required (e.g. 1 staff per shift)

. Perform any assignment/activity/work related to the role

What you'll need to succeed

. Higher NITEC / NITEC in any Engineering from a recognized educational institute

. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in chiller-related hands on operations and maintenance

. Must be able to shift duties - 12-hour shift or other shift pattern as per project requirement

. Good analytical and communication skills with positive attitude
