Network Engineer :

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is beneficial, but not always required

- Equivalent experience and certifications can also be considered

Technical Skills

- Hardware Repair: Ability to repair damaged or faulty network equipment and devices

- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and fix errors in computer networks

- IT Computer Networking: Knowledge of installing and maintaining data center infrastructure, including network maintenance

- Inventory Management: Organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and network devices

Certifications

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA): A popular entry-level certification for networking professionals

- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data Center: An advanced certification for design architects and technology engineers

- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Server+: Industry-recognized certifications that demonstrate technical expertise

- Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA): An entry-level certification that covers data center design, building, and management

Experience

- Hands-on experience in data center operations, maintenance, and repair

- Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and cybersecurity is a plus

Soft Skills

- Communication: Strong customer service and communication skills to work effectively with clients and staff

- Stamina: Physical endurance to lift heavy items and work long hours on demand

- Technical Writing: Ability to develop standard operating procedures and technical documentation
