Job Summary:
Equipment Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area, while working in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors. Equipment Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues.
Main Responsibilities:
. Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
. May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
Minimum Required Qualifications/Experience
Diploma in Engineering. Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred
Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies is preferred
Knowledge of AI tools and application

. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams
. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
. Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing setting
Highly Desirable/Preferred skills or experience
. Experience in or knowledge on semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies
. Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and automation tools
.Internship or experience gained as equipment in the semiconductor industry is a plus
