The Technical Upgradation Executive supports Trust Maritime's upgradation initiatives by coordinating implementation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. The role focuses on transitioning from paper‑based processes to a digital ERP system, strengthening governance and operational clarity. It involves supporting the planning, execution, and embedding of improvements across policies, processes, and practices, working closely with senior management and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and tracking of approved upgradation initiatives, including timelines and action items
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to facilitate information exchange, follow‑ups, and meeting outcomes
- Prepare structured progress updates, summaries, and trackers for management review
- Draft, update, and organise policies, SOPs, and governance documentation based on guidance from relevant stakeholders
- Document current workflows, roles, and responsibilities to support process clarification, standardisation, and improvement
- Maintain accurate records, documentation logs, and version control
- Support the rollout and embedding of new or revised processes and practices across the organisation
- Compile reference materials, handover documentation, and guides to support continuity and knowledge transfer
- Highlight and escalate implementation risks, gaps, or improvement opportunities in a timely manner
Requirements & Qualifications
- Practical exposure to maritime or related organisational environments through internships, projects, or work attachments
- Working knowledge of maritime compliance and regulatory requirements, with the ability to support related documentation, coordination, and follow‑up activities
- Experience in ship management coordination, documentation, or project support functions
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Comfortable working within structured governance, documentation, and reporting frameworks
- Degree or Master's degree in Maritime Studies or a related discipline
- Exposure to project management or governance concepts is an advantage
