Job Scope
- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on technical and functional requirements.
- Conducting integration, and system testing to validate application behaviour against the scope of change.
- Performing manual testing activities including exploratory testing and user acceptance testing.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through to resolution, ensuring proper communication with development teams.
- Collaborating with Test Automation Engineers to identify test cases suitable for automation.
- Understanding and executing business case scenarios when required for testing validation.
Job Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- With 5 or more years of experience in designing, developing, and executing test cases and scenarios based on technical and functional requirements.
- Skilled in performing integration, system, exploratory, and user acceptance testing to validate application behaviour.
- Proficient in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through resolution, with clear communication to development teams.
- Ability to work closely with test automation engineers to identify automation opportunities and align manual/automated testing strategies.
- Comprehensive understanding of business case scenarios and ability to apply them effectively in testing validation.
- Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and grants/enterprise IT systems.
- Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with good communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
