Job Responsibilities:
- Provide overall technical solutions to customers which are not limited to products only but also the inclusion of tooling, and part design analysis i.e - CAE, and injection molding
- Conduct market research on the latest technology trends related to the company's current or future targeted applications
- Plan and work together with the commercial team to create a mid-term plan as well as Long long-term plan business strategy on target application
- Provide solution and technical support to the commercial team in meeting short-term budget targets
- Plan and evaluate analysis methods about actual application requirements and needs to provide actual data to customers for application development
- Obtain actual application requirements and translate these technical requirements into actual material properties for R&D to formulate new material.
- Provide support in negotiating newly formulated material technical properties limitation with customers on specific application needs & requirements
- Provide technical marketing activities in developing new markets and/or customers.
- Provide technical training to all business partners such as Traders and/or Distributors on Engineering Polymer, technical training will be also extended to customers as and when requested.
- Organized trade show to enhance product brand marketing.
- Conducting molding trials with customers
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree and above in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or related field. Candidates with a Chemical background will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of polymers and plastics.
- Knowledge with minimum 3 years experience in plastics injection molding and experience of chemical analysis for plastics or chemicals
- Frequent travelling will be required for this position (ASEAN and India)
