Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Technical Superintendent overseeing the technical operations of assigned oil tankers, ensuring top-tier performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure vessels meet required technical standards and performance metrics. Systematically update and store certification and documentation for vessels. Efficiently implement the planned maintenance system. Prepare, arrange, and manage vessel surveys, including class and statutory requirements. Manage and monitor dry-docking processes and other essential repair and maintenance tasks. Review the performance of vessel crews and promote continuous improvement. Develop and manage the technical budget for vessels. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Possess seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (COC Class 2 or 3) or have a minimum of 2 years experience as a technical superintendent for oil and bunker tankers. Demonstrate a strong sense of integrity and professionalism. Exhibit excellent leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills.
