We are seeking a qualified and proactive Technical Superintendent to join our clients technical team in Singapore. This role requires the incumbent to have sailed on Tanker vessels and currently overseeing a fleet of tanker vessels onshore.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day technical operations of assigned tankers
- Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and machinery health.
- Plan and supervise routine maintenance, dry-dockings, and repairs.
- Coordinate with onboard crew and ensure compliance with planned maintenance systems (PMS).
- Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and third-party service providers.
- Manage budgets for assigned vessels, track expenditures, and control costs.
- Investigate technical incidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and execution of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Requirements:
- Chief Engineer, COC Class 1
- Minimum1 Year working experience onshore as a Technical Superintendent
- Proficient in MS Office and vessel management software
- Willingness to travel for vessel inspections, audits, and dry-dock supervision.
