Technical Superintendent in Singapore

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all technical aspects of assigned vessels meet the standards outlined in our contractual agreements with clients.
- Maintain proactive communication and strong relationships with client representatives involved in daily operations.
- Provide continuous technical and operational support for a designated group of vessels.
- Monitor machinery and equipment performance, address operational discrepancies, and drive improvements for safety and efficiency.
- Develop and supervise vessel maintenance and repair plans, including planning and execution of dry-docking.
- Oversee budget planning and tracking for all assigned vessels, ensuring cost-effectiveness and transparency.
- Ensure vessel compliance with maritime laws, safety regulations, and certification requirements.
- Conduct technical inspections and internal audits to identify opportunities for improvement and to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Promote and implement the company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies onboard.
- Drive continuous improvement across all technical management functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering
- Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency
Experience:
- Minimum 12 months sailing experience as Chief Engineer.
- 1 year shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent
Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of vessel operations, machinery, and maritime regulations
- Strong project management and organizational skills

- People management and leadership capabilities

- High level of computer literacy and familiarity with ship management software
