We are on the lookout for a Squad Lead to join our company who is well-versed in Agile processes and practices. You will provide strong technical leadership for the squad. You are proficient in facilitating collaboration and open communication, promoting creativity and accountability, and removing blockers where necessary. Key Responsibilities
- Be accountable for the technology direction, oversee adherence to technology, SDLC, and Agile standards and policies, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Drive technical improvements in the SDLC and automation frameworks, coming with a technical background in Backend development, Frontend development, or Mobile development.
- Be accountable for team productivity, quality, and delivery in accordance with timelines
- Plan and orchestrate the execution of tasks while functioning as an individual contributor
- Manage resource allocation and prioritization effectively
- Mitigate risks and remove impediments that impact team cohesion or project timelines
- Monitor progress, highlight issues encountered, flag potential roadblocks early, mitigate risks, and manage issues appropriately.
- Stay on top of delivery efficiency and unblock any impediments to the technical delivery for the team
- Review and approve PR's of the development team, maintaining vigilant and effective code quality
- Champion scrum principles, ensuring scrum activities remain effective and purposeful
- Coach and empower team members, encourage growth and knowledge sharing, facilitate continuous improvement, and build team cohesion
- Mentor team members through constructive feedback and inspire them to achieve optimal performance
- Manage backlog through timely feedback with the team
- Coach, motivate, and drive the delivery team with technical leadership and vision.
Prerequisites
- 7+ years of experience in leading technical teams.
- Experience in a software development role, delivering high-quality applications.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standard best practices and full SDLC, and proficiency with Agile methodologies.
- Substantial expertise in full-stack development technologies in frontend or backend, tools, design solutioning, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Possess software architecture and design skills to guide the development of solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise applications delivery.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Foresighted behavioral attitude for effective delivery management
- Hands-on experience and close to the modern technology stack
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high productivity environment.
