Responsibilities
- Familiar with preparation of overall layout drawing and P&IDs for various systems, related to Combined Cycle power plants
- Lead a team of engineers during bid preparation and effectively execute the tendering works
- Guide the Engineering Team through the execution phase and monitor the engineering and procurement progress
- Able to perform and review sizing calculations for various equipment (like pump / fan sizing, heat exchanger sizing, etc)
- Prepare technical evaluation of vendor offers, approve vendor drawing and coordinate with vendor during post-order stage
- Coordinate with other disciplines of engineering and site during detailed engineering stage and commissioning
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Pre-requisites:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in EPC power plant projects
- Conversant with overall cycle analysis and heat balance drawings
- Familiar with International Codes and practices
- Familiar with cycle analysis programs like GT Pro / GT Master will be an added advantage
- Able to interact effectively with Owner and Owner's Engineers on technical issues
- Prior experience in leading a team of design engineers is an added advantage
