Our client is a European-headquartered company that specializes in production of natural ingredients derived from plant sources, supplying to diverse businesses across Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, and Health & Wellness sectors. The Technical Sales Specialist is a new role created to drive the strong revenue growth across the region.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the APAC Commercial Lead, this role provides technical and commercial support to the sales team across Asia, managing the full sales cycle and driving new business development. It involves building relationships with key accounts, delivering customer presentations, leading sales opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to develop proposals and ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role supports distributors and customers through product training, seminars, and scientific presentations, while acting as a liaison for technical inquiries and gathering market feedback to support product development and regulatory initiatives.
This is a regional APAC role requiring up to 50% travel.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone with a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Biomedical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science or closely related discipline. You will need to have 2 5 years of Sales, Business Development, Account Management, and/or Product Management experiences, ideally in Ingredients or Raw Materials across Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Food, Consumer & Personal Care.
