Responsibilities
The Technical Sales Engineer uses marketing strategies and leadership skills to generate leads and establish business relationship with customers in the marine, oil and gas industries. He or she has to cover the following duties and responsibilities:
- Making sales plan to acquire local and international customers;
- Providing technical expertise and support to clients regarding our valve products and repair service solutions.
- Formulate marketing activities and policies for promoting company's services;
- Gather market information and provide recommendations for improvements for achieving global business goals;
- Making cold calls, gathering information about potential international clients, generating leads and writing reports.
- communicate with purchase department and suppliers to get competitive quote for materials by negotiation .
- Liaise with internal departments (QA/QC, Production and Purchase) to collect project information and data.
- Prepare technical proposal including statement with estimated cost in time.
