Role Description

The Technical Sales Engineer / Solutions Consultant / Pre-Sales Architect is responsible for supporting enterprise sales initiatives through technical consultation, solution design, and customer engagement activities. This role focuses on pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, technical demonstrations, customer requirement analysis, and cross-functional collaboration while helping organizations deliver scalable and value-driven technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting enterprise sales cycles through technical consultation, solution presentations, and customer discovery activities aligned with business objectives
  • Monitoring sales KPIs, pipeline conversion metrics, solution adoption indicators, customer engagement outcomes, and revenue growth performance measures
  • Collaborating with sales teams, product managers, engineering departments, customer success teams, and executive stakeholders on commercial and technical initiatives
  • Conducting technical requirement analysis, solution architecture planning, system evaluations, and customer workflow assessments to identify business needs and optimization opportunities
  • Designing scalable technical solutions, integration strategies, cloud architectures, API connectivity plans, and operational deployment recommendations
  • Supporting RFP/RFI responses, proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, technical workshops, demos, and customer onboarding activities
  • Preparing technical proposals, architecture documentation, solution analysis, and strategic recommendations for customers and management review
  • Driving process improvement, solution optimization, and operational scalability initiatives across pre-sales and customer engineering functions
  • Managing CRM systems, solution documentation platforms, analytics dashboards, and operational reporting technologies
  • Supporting implementation coordination, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional alignment activities throughout solution delivery lifecycles
  • Assisting with cybersecurity reviews, compliance evaluations, cloud modernization projects, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives
  • Staying updated on cloud technologies, AI-driven enterprise solutions, SaaS trends, cybersecurity standards, and solution architecture best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Certifications in cloud technologies, cybersecurity, solution architecture, DevOps, networking, or enterprise platforms are advantageous
  • 3–10 years of experience in technical sales, solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, enterprise architecture, or customer-facing technology roles
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions, cloud infrastructure, API integrations, SaaS platforms, networking, and solution design methodologies
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CRM platforms, Kubernetes, APIs, ERP systems, analytics tools, and enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity governance, DevOps practices, cloud-native applications, and digital transformation initiatives is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and enterprise priorities effectively
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, telecommunications, cybersecurity, logistics, e-commerce, or multinational technology environments is an advantage
