Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to promote, support, and grow the use of weld equivalent pipe and tube fittings. The role requires a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen to develop customer relationships, provide engineering solutions, and achieve sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in piping systems, instrumentation, or mechanical/chemical process industries, with a strong ability to communicate technical and commercial aspects of the products effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the use of product in oil & gas, chemical, and industrial applications.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, client visits, and networking.
  • Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to engineers, maintenance personnel, and procurement teams.
  • Collaborate with customers to propose suitable solutions for piping and instrumentation connections.
  • Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and customer interaction logs.
  • Work closely with engineering and product support teams to resolve technical queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in trade shows, technical seminars, and industry events to promote brand awareness.
  • Able to deliver effective product training and hands-on demonstrations to customers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, piping systems, or industrial fittings.
  • Familiarity with oil & gas plant maintenance, instrumentation systems, or chemical process applications.

. Strong understanding of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).

. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

. Proven track record in B2B technical sales and relationship management.

. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation.

. Willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions for client meetings and site visits.

. Familiar with ASME B31 piping codes and standards
