The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting business and product sales by delivering technical solutions, conducting customer evaluations, and providing both pre- and Post-Sales support for Die AOI (Die Sorter) systems. This role bridges customer requirements with internal engineering teams to drive business growth and product development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers for Die AOI / Die Sorter solutions
- Technical support of field service engineers and customers when required
- Prepare and deliver technical specification, presentations, proposals, and customized solutions to customers.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies related to Die AOI and advanced packaging
- Prepare and maintain competitive analysis between internal products and competitor solutions
- Support marketing team for product launches, including preparation of videos, brochures, and demo materials.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related discipline)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor equipment or Die Sorter systems. (Die Sorter or Wafer Sorter will be preferred.)
- Ability to manage customer expectations, negotiations, and issue resolution while effectively coordinating across multiple stakeholders (customers, sales, R&D, and application teams)
- Good analytical skill
- Availability to travel for customer visits, events, or proposal-related activities.
- Proficient in English and Chinese, both written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft application
