Technical Sales Engineer - Industrial Solutions

• Monday - Friday: 9.00 AM - 6.15 PM

A global technology company specialising in industrial automation, sensing, measurement, and quality inspection solutions.

Responsibilities

• Attend structured and paid product and application training programmes.

• Develop in-depth knowledge of industrial automation products and their applications.

• Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable solutions to customers across various industries.

• Conduct on-site customer visits to understand operational needs and deliver effective product demonstrations.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while expanding the client portfolio.

• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the assigned territory.

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries and technical requests.

• Collaborate with internal teams to implement product launch strategies and achieve business objectives.

• Support and participate in seminars, exhibitions, and trade events when required.

• Manage daily sales activities independently and efficiently.

• Contribute to market expansion and territory development initiatives.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or other related disciplines is preferred.

• Strong interest in industrial automation and technical products.

• Passion for consultative and solution-based sales.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Goal-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.

• Comfortable working in manufacturing environments and interacting with technical stakeholders.

• Willing to travel frequently for customer visits (approximately 60% of the time, including occasional overnight travel).

• Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving Licence is advantageous.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
