We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with proven experience in selling technology solutions to senior executives. You will be responsible for selling to new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels.

Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction, and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering solution selling into prospect account base
  • Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
  • Plan, prepared, and executed strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Manage all technical inquiries and proof of concept trials and provide prompt and effective responses
  • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer in the Semiconductor or Electronics industry, or 2 or more years of working experience in the Semiconductors Industry
  • Must be a graduate of a public university in Singapore (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Proven track record selling complex automation or MRO solutions
  • Attend to customer inquiries on Industrial Automation products and work with the design team on conceptual design
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Solid technical background with an understanding of developments in the semiconductor industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills
  • Provide customer support for the entire sales cycle
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure as well as a team player
  • Willingness to travel
  • Degree or equivalent, preferably with a numeracy base
