Technical Sales Engineer

The Job : The incumbent will be responsible for providing sales, promotion, technical services to the satisfaction of Saint Gobain Construction Chemical's (SGCC) customer, and aligning with corporation objectives.

Duties :

1. Promotes and creates sales opportunities for SGCC

2. Establish strong business relationship with all SGCC stakeholders gaining market share while retaining current customer for business growth.

3. Review market surveys and participate in planning and forecasting existing product line and new product developments.

4. Provides new and existing customers with technical assistance, recommendations, troubleshooting and other necessary technical service.

5. Conduct hand-on laboratory trial and field trial at customer concrete batching plant for evaluation of concrete performance on the use of SGCC products.

6. Preparation of Management Reports, Field Trial Reports and Weekly Reports

7. Working with Sales leaders, Global/ Regional Product & Marketing Manager, R&D team for local and regional projects.

8. Perform field troubleshooting and work with R&D team for recommendation of solutions to resolve problem.

9. Conduct regular plant visits for rapport building and interact frequently with customers operations/technical team to understand customers needs.

10. Be on standby for call upon any on-site customer services request.

11. Assists in the sales order & delivery process to support the customer services team when necessary, and collection of accounts receivables

12. Demonstrates knowledge of and follows the established EHS standards for the workplace, including but not limited to the plant, office, and other SGCC and customer locations.

13. Understands and adheres to SGCC compliance standards as in Corporate Ethics Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.

Requirements

1. Degree/Diploma in civil engineering, or related technical discipline.

2. Prior experience in readymix/ precast/ concrete/ building materials/construction industry will be of a distinct advantage.

3. Proficient in Microsoft power point, Excel and Word.

4. Has a valid Class 3 driving license.
