Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Technical Sales Engineer to support our business in the automotive and manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will combine engineering knowledge with strong sales and customer relationship skills to offer tailored solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell technical products (e.g. automotive components, engineering solutions, or machinery) to customers across various industries
- Understand client requirements and provide suitable product recommendations and technical advice
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and assist in contract negotiations
- Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and after-sales support when needed
- Work closely with the internal engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and timely delivery of orders
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively developing new business opportunities
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project progress
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Valid Singapore driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings.
